September 2026

Every year after the Eagle Rodeo calls it a wrap, I take a little time to reflect on the successes of the rodeo and the things we need to improve. We listen to feedback from our amazing fans and work all year to make improvements to the facilities and how we interact with fans and contestants.  We are looking forward to some great changes coming this year. The biggest of which is reservable seats for Friday and Saturday night. We are going to have reservable seats for about half of our seating.  It is something we have never done before and we heard that some people had a hard time finding a seat on our busy Friday and Saturday nights.  Much of this was due to big gaps between people in the stands.  We have made the decision to have the entire western side of the arena reservable. You will be able to pick an individual reserved seat. I think this change will allow our fans to have the best experience possible.

In late August we had my favorite event of the year. This is our annual volunteer wrap up party. Each year we gather all our volunteers, committee members and directors to eat great food, have a few adult beverages and celebrate our amazing volunteers.  Each year we recognize those volunteers that have gone above and beyond and present them with a buckle.  This year we gave over 25 buckles to these amazing standout volunteers. We also introduced a group of ten that have been standouts for years. These volunteers have been promoted to Associate Directors. I want to congratulate:
